COMMERCIAL LETTERS - 1

3B - Dictation. Monica Taylor has received a wrong order from her supplier, Mr Jordan. She dictates a reply to her secretary.

Dear Mr Jordan,

I am writing to say that the baseball bats you sent us yesterday were the wrong ones. We asked for size 2 (two) for children, not size 1 (one) for adults. Last week the problem was the wrong caps, this week it is the wrong bats !.
Please send us some new bats immediately: fifteen small ones, as ordered on August 13th (or 13).
Yours sincerely,
Monica Taylor.

REPASSEM - 2

Countable Nouns

Countable nouns are easy to recognize. They are things that we can count. For example: "pen". We can count pens. We can have one, two, three or more pens.

Uncountable Nouns

Uncountable nouns are substances, concepts etc that we cannot divide into separate elements. We cannot "count" them. For example, we cannot count "milk". We can count "bottles of milk" or "litres of milk", but we cannot count "milk" itself.
