VOCABULARY:
- CONSIGNEE: a person or a company that receives a consignment of goods, i.e. the importer.
- BILL OF LADING: a document which gives details of the goods being transported and it acts as a receipt for the consignee who needs to have it to collect the goods.
- AIR WAYBILL: transport document by air.
- PORT OF DISCHARGE: the port at which the goods will be taken off the ship.
- DELIVERY BY ON-CARRIER: when another form of transportations takes de goods from the ship at the port of discharge to their final destination.
- Bs/L: abreviation for Bills of Lading .
- VESSEL: a ship
- GROSS WEIGHT: the total weight, i.e. including packaging.
